Yesterday, to celebrate our first month as a married couple, Chuck and I sat down to watch our wedding video. We hired Signature Video, a husband and wife team based out of Brooklyn. Heather and I went to college together so I knew that I could trust her and Jason with putting our big day on film.
Of all of the things that you could cut to save money, I wouldn’t recommend it being the videographer. You may not watch your wedding video as often as you would pop in your favorite movie, but it’s still an amazing thing to have. It was wonderful to see my wedding day from the eyes of a spectator. I got to see the things I missed and relive the best parts.
I won’t bore you with our entire 2-hour wedding video, but here is the Signature Moments feature that Heather and Jason put together for us.
When I first played this, I started bawling. Seriously. Bawling. I could watch it over and over again.
Whether you hire a professional or put someone in charge of taking video all day, definitely put your day on film. It’s worth every penny.
[Oh, and in case you were wondering, yes, my matron of honor and I are doing the dance routine for Everybody by The Backstreet Boys. We are just that cool]
oh my gosh, goosebumps!!! love
I smiled through the WHOLE video!!! Love it, love it, love it.
Also, you are way too hard on yourself. I know we all are, but you are BEAUTIFUL, lady. Truly and sincerely.
